A summer kimono, custom-made in Kyoto, featuring a vertical絽 (ro) weave. The actual color is lighter than pictured. It has one family crest and has been worn very little. The fabric has a sheer quality created by a weave resembling drawn work. A fukuro obi (a formal type of kimono sash) was paired with this kimono. It features an Arisugawa pattern woven with gold and silver threads, signifying a high level of formality. A summer obi cord will also be included to match the kimono. Length: 155 cm Sleeve length (from center back of neck): 63.5 cm (with approximately 6 cm of hem allowance) Sleeve width: 45.5 cm (with approximately 6 cm of hem allowance) Back width: 30 cm Summer kimonos are made with shorter sleeve lengths than winter kimonos, as summer garments are already hot.
