krank marcello French Antique Wooden Birdcage

French Antique Birdcage, Bird Cage, Birdcage, krank marcello, CASICA, montique, THE PENNY WISE, Store Fixture, Display, Object, Brocante, Shabby, Rustic, Natural, Country

[Product Description]

This is an old wooden birdcage from France.

I purchased it some time ago at krank, a European antique furniture store in Fukuoka.
It's a very popular store where items sell out immediately upon being listed online.
I don't remember exactly, but it was probably around 20,000 to 30,000 yen since it was from krank.

It's a compact size.
It comes with a perch.
The door is a lift-up sliding type.
The insertable tray can be removed by opening the bottom door.

This is a common design for French antique birdcages.
While the design is simple, the natural and rustic texture of the wood itself conveys warmth and blends comfortably into any space.

It can be used not only as a birdcage but also for displaying plants, dried flowers, or other objects, allowing for various arrangements.

It has dust from storage, but as it is a delicate item, I have only lightly cleaned it with a brush to avoid damaging the texture.
If you are concerned, please wash it with water at your own risk after purchase.
