Piezo-compatible buffer (input impedance 10MΩ)

This is an original buffer compatible with piezo pickups.

We paid close attention to the parts used, such as employing Sonic genuine HW-01 for wiring and Oyaide Electric SS-47 solder.

With a high input impedance of 10MΩ, it faithfully receives the delicate signal from piezo (passive) pickups and converts it into a strong signal (low impedance).
As a result, it can be used with amplifiers and effects pedals not compatible with piezo pickups without signal loss.

*With typical amplifier/effects pedal input impedance (approx. 500kΩ - 1MΩ), connecting a piezo pickup directly can easily result in a loss of low frequencies.

This unit can be used not only for various acoustic instruments, including the double bass, but also as a buffer for electric guitars and basses.

■ About the SUBSONIC FILTER
When turned ON, it reduces SUBSONIC (ultra-low frequency) components contained in the input signal. This prevents unnecessary low-frequency amplification, resulting in a tight and clear sound.
While LOW CUT cuts low frequencies after amplification, the SUBSONIC FILTER takes an approach of not amplifying them in the first place, allowing for a more natural adjustment of low frequencies.
