The B-50, designed as a pioneer of acoustic basses in the mid-1970s, was a model featuring a jumbo body, an arched mahogany back, and an easy-to-play 781mm scale. After decades, this historic model has returned. The B-240E is an acoustic bass designed for serious bassists, offering easy playability and a rich volume that can serve as a main instrument.
The combination of a solid Sitka spruce top with an arched mahogany back and mahogany sides produces rich volume and a full low-end, making it suitable for acoustic sessions. Additionally, the built-in Guild / Fishman Bass Sonitone Bass system delivers a natural sound when plugged in.
