This listing is for an original Union Pacific Railroad Adlake Kero shortglobe lantern equipped with its matching embossed U.P. red signal globe. Both the lantern top and the globe carry clear U.P. markings, confirming railroad issue and ensuring the piece has not been assembled from mixed parts. The lantern retains its complete wire guard, bail handle, and ventilated Kero top, with patent information stamped on the underside.  The red globe is embossed KERO U.P. and remains free of cracks. The frame shows the expected surface wear and patina consistent with age and railroad service.
