HOMARE, a Japanese-made shoulder rest developed by orchestra members of the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra. This is the newly lightweight Version II.

HOMARE is the first purely Japanese-made (made in Japan) bridge-type shoulder rest, conceived and developed by violinists and violists in professional orchestras, gathering requests and desires from renowned soloists and veteran orchestral players. It is a world's first shoulder rest with a new shape and structure, patented from the last year of the Heisei era into the first year of Reiwa.

By attaching one leg to the high-pitched side corner, it restricts the player's positioning options, guiding them towards an ideal posture for both performance and their body.
