Antique Nippon Royal Sometuke Blue White Cup & Saucer Set, 4 Cups 5 Bowls Japan

Antique Japanese porcelain in the Noritake Royal Sometuke Nippon blue and white line, made circa 1906-1921 for the Nippon export era. This is one of the line's many unnamed border patterns (only Sicily was factory-named), featuring paneled cartouches, floral medallions, ribbon swags, and a dash-checker border. Set includes 4 cups (2 H x 3.5 Dia.) with matching deep coupe-style saucers (1 H x 5 Dia. bowls) plus 1 bonus bowl. Backstamped Royal Sometuke NIPPON in blue on each piece. Excellent preowned vintage condition; please review photos closely, as I am not a professional appraiser but these show no chips, cracks, repairs, crazing or even flea bites. Only some very minor shelf wear on the unglazed bottom rim in a couple places. Note: There is a tiny under-glaze firing speck on one bowl and minor unevenness in underglaze blue saturation, both period manufacturing characteristics, not damage. I took picture of these two manufacturing flaws but they are very minor. Props shown in styled photos are not included. All items in my shop are vintage and may show light signs of age or use. I try to note and photograph any flaws. Please review all photos carefully and zoom in for details. Rest assured your item will be packaged with care.
