Description
Corning Blue Cornflower casserole dish 1.5 quart A very square casserole dish. This white CorningWare casserole dish features the iconic blue cornflower pattern and holds 1.5 quarts. The pattern on this piece is called Blue Cornflower. It is the most famous design ever produced by CorningWare, running continuously from 1958 until 1988. Unlike typical glass or ceramic, this is made from a glass-ceramic material originally developed for rocket nose cones. It can transition directly from a freezing freezer straight into a hot preheated oven without cracking. The piece is fully safe to use on range stovetops, under oven broilers, inside microwaves, and in dishwashers. Stamp: Corning Ware P-4-B 1 1/2 Quart Made in the U.S.A. Dimensions: 6x 7.25x 3.25
