Antique violin bow ca. 1900

【Antique Violin Bow, Circa 1900】

Please review the following details as this is a very old bow:

**Dimensions:**
*   Total Length: 730mm
*   Weight: 60.0g

**Materials:**
*   Tip: Silver
*   Wrapping: Silver
* Fittings: Not silver (likely nickel silver)
*   Thumb grip: Lizard
*   Rehaired: September 2025

**Condition:**
* Stick: Two cracks, one on each side from below the thumb grip to the frog eyelet, have been fully repaired with adhesive bonding.
* Frog eyelet: Worn areas on the sides have been filled and repaired.
* Head: A noticeable scratch on the player's side of the head.
* Frog: Two instances of distortion on the slide fitting, and a noticeable chip on the audience's side of the frog heel.

(All necessary repairs have been made, and there are no critical issues affecting playability or the bow's lifespan.)

* No unwanted bends or twists; the camber has been readjusted.
* A beautiful violin bow with a strong presence, it is supple yet retains its resilience, offering a round and agile rebound for delicate touch.
* The style, materials, and age suggest a German School bow (Knopp, etc.) prominent before the 20th century. The bow's inherent stickiness also contributes to a playing feel distinct from modern bows.

I've been very busy with my main work and haven't had much time to interact with violinists. However, I recently acquired this interesting bow and would be delighted if someone with an interest were to acquire it.
