M Magenta by Rae Dunn Vintage Ceramic Covered Butter Cheese Dish Home Bird EUC

A rare, vintage Rae Dunn piece produced by Magenta in the earliest days of the collaboration between the artist and the manufacturer. Covered ceramic butter/cheese dish in a natural whitish-stone color featuring the word “home.” with flower stems on either side in contrasting black paint. A sweet bird sits atop the dome. The piece measures approximately 6 5/8” wide x 4 1/8” deep at the base x 4 1/4” high Condition: Excellent vintage condition - pristine but for the tiniest, smooth chip on the bottom of base dish (see image with red arrow for reference). Variations in the paint application are a hallmark of Rae Dunn designs adding to the homespun look. ***Please forgive the light/white spots on the dish as they are reflections of my photography lighting. They are not flaws in the finish or otherwise. [Keywords: farmhouse farm house vtg ray done pottery Y2K 2000s 2000’s euc bird wildflower wildflowers wild cloche floral chirp hard to find htf h2f ]
