Sheffield England Silver Classic Serving Spoon Antique 13” Kings Pattern Elegant

Elegant serving spoon with a detailed decorative handle.  Finished in an antique silver for a timeless look.  Complements traditional and formal table settings. In great preowned condition. Measures 13” long. Retro. Silver Plated.  It features the iconic Kings Pattern (often referred to as Kings Shell), which is one of the most celebrated antique English flatware designs.  The pattern is recognizable by its traditional honeysuckle flower ornamentation, scrolling foliage, and the prominent clam shell motif stamped on the terminal of the handle.  It is typically constructed from EPNS (Electro-Plated Nickel Silver), a high-quality method where a thick layer of fine silver is chemically bonded onto a sturdy nickel alloy base.  Due to its elongated stem and generous oval bowl, this style was commonly distributed as a large table or buffet serving spoon, berry spoon, or dressing/stuffing spoon.
