Martin Van Schaak Vintage White Patent Leather w/ Shell Ornament- Vintage Lux

It’s RARE to find a beautiful vintage luxury bag from Martin Van Schaak! His pieces are works of art and were custom made for exclusive & prominent clients.  Features: •White patent leather body with front design  •Shell and jewel front decorative ornamentation of high end jewelry caliber (it is said the CINER supplied Van Schaak’s ornaments)- it appears to look like gold seaweed which has ensnared glittering beach treasures  •There are 2 open compartments and then a center section that closes with a small gold tone clasp •The center section reveals 2 open pockets, 1 lipstick pocket, and a zip pocket  •Van Schaak was known for using high quality materials and custom made these art pieces- going to the clients home to get to know them •Gold tone hardware is noticeable on pieces of the strap and top clasp  •Measures approximately: 6 1/2”h x 8”l x 3”d •Strap- 13” drop is slightly adjustable  •MARTIN VAN SCHAAK NEW YORK is stamped in gold inside This is honestly a Museum worthy bag and in amazing excellent condition- but keep in mind- this is vintage from the 1950’s! It was gifted to me & I would love to keep her- but those bills keep coming!   I have not seen a bag of his of this caliber go for less then $750- so I have priced it as such (Posh takes 20%), but I know it is worth a lot more!
