Based out of St. Louis, Missouri, Simmons was one of the premier hardware and cutlery distributors of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, famous for their high-quality shaving gear and Keen Kutter line.  Condition Details:  Authentic Vintage Condition: Shows significant wear consistent with age, storage, and historical use.  Sleeve: The textured tan outer sleeve has expected surface scuffing, edge wear, discoloration, and minor structural softening. One of the end caps is present but partially detached/torn (see close-up photos).  Inner Tray: The black inner cardboard slide shows heavy wear on the exposed end, with some tearing/crushing to the cardboard edges.  Label: The interior paper caution label remains legible and mostly intact with some typical aging and staining.
