Description
Vintage Graf von Henneberg Porzellan trinket dish featuring delicate floral bouquets, ornate gold gilt scrollwork, and a softly scalloped rim. Produced at the VEB JLMenau porcelain works in Thuringia, Germany, this petite bowl showcases classic mid-century European decorative styling. The center displays a romantic rose bouquet surrounded by scattered florals, framed by hand-applied gilt detailing and a molded pedestal form. The underside bears the factory backstamp along with handwritten decorator notation including form number 573/3 and a historic décor reference date of 1921, indicating the original pattern design rather than production year. Originally part of a multi-use serving line, bowls of this size are now commonly styled as vanity dishes, jewelry catchalls, or dresser accents. Condition: Very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks observed. Light age-appropriate wear to the gold gilt in small areas. Details: • Maker: Graf von Henneberg Porzellan – VEB JLMenau • Germany, circa 1950s–1960s • Porcelain with gold gilt • Floral transfer décor • Form No. 573/3 • Marked underside Dimensions: 6.25 diameter • 1.5 tall Ideal for jewelry, rings, perfume display, or vanity styling.
