Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic piece of contemporary American art glass hand-blown by the renowned glass artist Ed Branson in 1994.   This elegant bud vase features a rich, deep amethyst purple core encased in fluid, organic clear glass. The bottom features a fully polished pontil base and is clearly hand-signed and dated by the artist (E Branson 1994).  Artist Biography: Ed Branson has been working with hot glass since 1980 and opened his independent studio in 1987. Having studied at the world-famous Pilchuck Glass School and the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, Branson also honed his skills working alongside legendary glassmaker Josh Simpson. His work is highly sought after by art glass collectors and is celebrated for its dynamic, nature-inspired movements and exceptional use of color layering.
