Please see ALL of the photos, this is the exact clock you will receive. The clock was manufactured between 1947-1977. It does show age and has West Germany stamped/engraved on back. The clock resembles the front of a locomotive - the smokestack being in the center on top. I could only find two examples of this clock elsewhere and this is the only one with the cap'' of the smokestack still present. The clock measures 5 3/4 tall and the dial is 2 1/4 in diameter. The clock is made of a lightweight metal, possibly tin, and the clear piece covering the face/dial is plastic. The clock does tell time, but the second hand is not working.
