Suzhou is one of the major production areas for erhu, and this instrument is crafted to a higher standard than nameless, mass-produced items found domestically.

**Condition**

*   The main body has minor scratches and scuffs from use, but no major cracks or critical damage.
*   Several hairs (about 4-5) on the bow are broken. It is still usable for regular playing, but you may consider rehairing if this is a concern.
*   Only one of the two strings is attached to the main body. The other string is included in its bag (appears unused).
*   An adjuster (fine-tuning fitting) is not included.
*   The felt pad placed under the bridge has been discarded due to hardening and deterioration from age. A commercially available one (around 100 yen) can be used as a substitute.
