Leica Genuine SOOHN Hektor 28mm Hood Early Silver Inlay No Inner Steps
299.00 $
Description
Lens hood SOOHN for Hektor 2.8cm f6.3.
This appears to be an early model with intricate silver inlay work on the lettering. The silver inlay 2.8cm E.Leitz Wetzlar Germany engraving remains clearly visible.
Furthermore, the inside of the hood features a smooth finish without any steps for anti-reflection, showcasing meticulous craftsmanship down to the finest details.
■ Condition
* Exterior: While there are minor scuffs and scratches overall, it shows less signs of use than expected for a hood of this age and is in remarkably clean condition.
* Functionality: The set screw operates smoothly and is in perfect working order for practical use.
The SOOHN itself is a rare hood that is not often seen today, and early models with silver inlay are even rarer. We recommend it not only for practical use but also as a collectible item that allows you to appreciate the craftsmanship of the era.
As I am not an expert, there may be minor oversights. Please judge the condition of the item after carefully reviewing the photos.
*The lens body shown in the example photo is not included in this listing.
