Perfect for various rooms and age groups, this rug exudes a timeless charm and sophistication.First I don't know a lot about antique rugs.This was bought from an estate and had been in the home forever.For the age in my opinion it is in great condition.Beautigul colors and designs.The rug is entirely hand needle pointed.I find no holes or repairs.No smell.It has had a back hand sewn onto it  Easily removed if you prefer.It was put over a carpet pad with double sided carpet tape  tape is not on the rug just the backing  I have the carpet padding if you would like it  This is an antique rug and beautiful  If you have any questions please ask before bidding and be specific.I will do my best to answer.I believe it to be wool but I am uncertain.It is flat and has hundreds of needle pointed hand made in it.I believe it is around 1920s but may be much older
