Wilton Armetale University of Notre Dame Porringer Dish Pewter-Look Aluminum RWP

Beautiful vintage porringer bowl crafted by the renowned Wilton Armetale foundry in Columbia, Pennsylvania. This special collector's piece features the official University of Notre Dame seal embossed in crisp relief at the center of the dish, making it the perfect find for Fighting Irish alumni, subway alumni, sports memorabilia collectors, or enthusiasts of traditional American metalware. The piece is made of Armetale, Wilton's proprietary aluminum-based alloy designed to replicate the classic matte luster, warmth, and heavy feel of antique pewter. Unlike traditional pewter, this alloy is exceptionally durable and will not rust, tarnish, crack, or chip. The bowl features a gorgeously detailed, pierced openwork handle with elegant scrollwork. The underside bears all official hallmarks of authenticity: the circular RWP (Ralph Wilhelm Products) touchmark, the location stamp WILTON-COLUMBIA, PA, and the model/mold number 129 cleanly stamped on the reverse side of the handle. Condition: Good vintage pre-owned condition. The piece displays a natural aged patina, faint surface scuffs, and minor wear inside the bowl from light handling over the years, giving it an authentic vintage character. No structural dents or deep damage. Perfect for use as a trinket dish, coin holder, desk accessory, or display piece. Sold exactly as pictured in the detailed photos.
