Northwood Company of Wheeling, West Virginia in the documented Poppy pattern, also known as Lightning Flower. According to Early American Pattern Glass Society (EAPGS) references, this pattern was introduced around 1908 and was produced in green pressed glass, carnival glass, and Goofus-decorated examples. This elegant compote features Northwood's distinctive molded floral design with poppy blossoms, scrolling vines, textured background, optic ribbed rim, and a ruffled edge. * Maker: H.
