Ergobrass Trumpet Support

Purchased in 2019.
This set includes the support rod, the attachment to connect it, a hex wrench for installation, and a part for attaching to a belt when playing standing up.

*Please note that the attachment shape was changed around 2021, from a zip-tie fixation to the current design. (Old attachment images and videos may still be available on web pages and YouTube, so please be aware.)

[How to use]
Attach the attachment between the 2nd and 3rd valves (images 5-7).
Attach the rod (images 8-9).
*Given the shape of the attachment, it may not be compatible with non-circular bottom caps (my Yamaha 8335LA works without issue).

ERGO BRASS began when trombonist Jouko Antere, suffering from pain in his left elbow and wrist during performance, developed an assistive device called ERGO bone.
ERGO is derived from the word Ergonomic. This assistive device, based on the mechanics of the body, quickly gained popularity, and requests came from players of other instruments, leading to the development of products for horn, euphonium, trumpet, and soprano saxophone.
Initially, the purpose was to reduce physical strain during performance, but it was also discovered that using ERGO products while seated could aid in playing the instrument with correct posture. This is particularly effective for small children and women.
