Detailed Description
A close-up lens that can be attached to the HA-11 hood adapter exclusively for the DP1. It utilizes the filter attachment function of the HA-11. The filter size is 46mm.

The minimum shooting distance when attached is 20cm. The magnification ratio is 1:8.2. It features a 2-element, 1-group construction, designed to suppress chromatic aberration and distortion. Additionally, a Super Multi-Layer Coating is applied to reduce flare and ghosting.

Note that the minimum shooting distance of the DP1 without the AML-1 attached is 30cm. Furthermore, to speed up AF focusing, the DP1 has a mode that sets the minimum shooting distance to 50cm, in addition to the normal FULL mode. When the AML-1 is attached in this mode, the minimum shooting distance becomes 33cm, and the maximum magnification ratio is 1:14.9.
