The dress has a long length and pockets on both sides. The shoulders are slightly dropped, but the sleeves themselves are 3/4 length.
As the material does not stretch, in my subjective opinion, those leaning towards L might be better off choosing L. For those leaning towards S, it might depend on your preference for length and how you adjust it.
Although it looks like a vivid print, it's not as flashy in person, perhaps because it's navy-based. It doesn't have a strong pajama or nightgown feel, so it might even work as loungewear for short errands in spring and summer.
