This vintage mid-century ceramic ashtray is a handsome collectible from the Walter Crowell Company. Produced as an authentic reproduction of a piece from the famed Long Island Automotive Museum Collection at Southampton, N.Y. (active from 1948 through 1980), it features a crisp black-and-white illustration of a classic 1904 Franklin Tonneau motor car. Decorated by Frederick Studio, the square-shaped tray features rounded corners and multiple debossed rests on all four sides. A fantastic display piece for classic car enthusiasts, automobilia collectors, or as a unique vintage key/trinket dish on an entry table or desk. Measurement photos included Excellent Vintage Condition: No chips, cracks, fleabites, or structural issues.
