Made with 70-75% copper. Horses find copper palatable and actively take the bit. The addition of manganese makes the bit more resistant to scratches and increases its durability.
- From the product description:
The mouthpiece of the Novo Contact bit has a unique oval shape. When the reins are pulled, the mouthpiece rotates forward, gradually narrowing the contact surface with the horse's mouth. This allows for more precise and effective rein aids. The bit also offers good acceptance, and because the rings and mouthpiece are not fixed, there is some play which allows for gradual transmission of pressure. Sensogan is used in the mouthpiece to encourage salivation.
The previous bit thickness of 16mm has been changed to 14mm, making it even gentler on the horse's mouth.
