H&Y EVO Rich Tone Natural CPL 82mm

This is an 82mm H&Y EVO Rich Tone Natural CPL magnetic filter.
This is a C-PL filter with a 1/16 white mist effect.

Purchased on Amazon around July 2024.
The edge of the filter has cracked, so I am selling it as I am replacing it.
When used with an RF15-35mm lens at around 18mm focal length, the cracked area appears white in the corners of the frame.
Even though I didn't use it at wide-angle focal lengths where vignetting was already present with the magnetic mount, it bothers me!

If you use it from 24mm onwards or with a screw-on mount, I don't think it will have much of an impact.

Manufacturer's product description below:
Controls contrast without color cast, and also has the effect of White Promist 1/16. It is characterized by its ability to suppress contrast in high-contrast scenes during daytime shooting while adding a subtle, gentle mist effect to highlights.

Kazuya Seki (Photographer)

This is the second product produced by photographer Kazuya Seki, following the 2024 Cinematic CPL Filter. It combines a slight softening effect equivalent to White Promist 1/16 with the latest color-cast-free polarizing film.

While the CPL filter effect removes and enhances reflections, it also adds the subtle softening effect of a White Promist filter. For portraits, it adjusts reflections from hair and skin, as well as foreground and background scenery, plants, floors, and walls. For landscapes, it slightly suppresses overall contrast while adjusting reflections and color contrast of rock faces, trees, and water surfaces.
