Cameron 2001 Open Championship Winner Commemorative Limited Edition New Unused

2001 Open Championship Commemorative Putter
Newport Beach for sale.

This Newport Beach, favored by David Duval,
is the only Cameron putter model in history with a slit in the face.

This listing is for a limited edition model, released with only 274 strokes from the Open Championship victory, featuring an engraving on the face.

A message about the Newport Beach from the Cameron Studio:
The Newport Beach has a long, classic history on tour and
enjoys a high reputation.

Scotty milled the refined Newport head from 303 stainless steel,
making the topline thinner and wider from front to back,
and added a slit to the putter face, stopping it just below the topline.

This floating face creates the unique sound of the Newport Beach,
which directly translates to the feel.

Previously, slits were placed in the flange of the putter,
but by moving it closer to the face, the pitch can be controlled to alter the feel.

The Newport Beach began in 1997 when approximately 100 putters were made for tour use.

Although a standard Newport Beach model was released commercially in 2002,
due to the immense popularity of Cameron putters at the time
and the demand for the Newport Beach, it was nearly impossible to obtain.

This putter is a super rare item from before the commercial release.

It is unlikely to be found in new, unused condition again.

The head is very clean.
The grip still has its plastic cover, and there are no external issues.

The original headcover is also included.

The length is 35 inches.

This is a super rare gem that is unlikely to be found in new, unused condition and rarely appears on the used market. This is for those who have been searching for it.
It is simply beautifully crafted and brings joy to ownership.

This is a new, unused item from 20 years ago.

While it is true that it was new, unused, and unopened,
please understand and accept potential age-related degradation.

At this time, Cameron putter heads from US Titleist did not come with shrink wrap.

Shipping is free.
Thank you.
