Listing this as I am selling my camera.
This is the RRS (Really Right Stuff) Olympus OM-1 & OM-1 mkⅡ Modular Plates Base Plate.
There are slight scuffs and scratches, but it is generally in clean condition.
This item is not sold in Japan. I imported it from the United States.
Including the weak yen and shipping costs, it cost me approximately ¥22,000 in total to acquire. (It would still cost around that much today.)
When this plate is attached, it resolves the issue of the pinky finger overhang.
The base is designed to attach to an Arca-Swiss tripod head, and it also has a QD (Quick Detach) hole, allowing you to attach a QD-type camera strap. Battery replacement can also be done with the plate attached.
