Description
Glassmasters stained glass suncatcher depicts a classic Old World Santa Claus holding a Merry Christmas banner. This 1987 vintage piece features rich, kiln-fired enamels on glass, capturing a folk-art style Father Christmas in a long red coat trimmed with fur, accompanied by a sack of toys and a small doll. The artwork is framed in a thin brass-tone metal border with two integrated hanging loops at the top. The translucent colors are designed to glow when placed in a window, though the piece also works well as a wall hanging. The bottom left corner is marked glassmasters © 1987.
