Description
This is a vintage brass baroque style serving set which includes a large ornate spoon and a matching fork, sometimes referred to as a salad or meat serving set. This ornate set is marked Italy and features lions, a gentleman and other pastoral and romantic figures. I am not sure of the maker but it is similar in style to utensils commonly crafted by makers such as Montagnani or Bordini in Italy. It shows wear and patina commensurate with its age. See photos.
