Description
Vintage Dorset Rex woven metal basket purse from the 1950s. Also called a Lunch Box Bag. This purse features gold metal basket weave with a navy cloth interior. Double handles with two top openings. Interior of bag has a sewn in mirror that does have some discoloration from age. The other side has a small pocket with comb. Marked Dorset Rex and Sax Fifth Avenue on interior although faded. Interior fabric is clean and intact. No smells. Exterior metal is in good condition, some minor wear marks/scratches due to age and use. Measurements: 8 x 5.25 and 3.75 high. Straps measure 4 above basket opening. Overall a very cute and fun vintage bag!
