Hand-Dyed Yukata Fabric Roll Arimatsu Narumi Shibori - Gorgeous Floral Pattern in Navy Purple - Summer Kimono

This fabric roll was purchased from another site and custom-tailored.
It has a beautiful pattern, but it was too flashy for my age, so I am selling it.
It is new, only tried on.

Shibori dyeing is a technique where the fabric is絞り染め (shibori-zome) by hand, one by one.
Even with the same design, each piece has a slightly different expression.

Arimatsu Narumi Shibori is designated as a national traditional craft and is a traditional shibori technique that has produced the majority of shibori products in Japan since the Edo period.

The pattern features a gorgeous floral design with interlocking geometric patterns (ajiro, shippo-tsunagi, and mesh), expressed with small kanoko shibori dots.

Enjoy the unique shading and texture of shibori, its excellent stretch that conforms beautifully to your body line for a comfortable fit, and a vibrant look that will brighten your summer season.
