1980s - Chokin Vase - Japanese Bush Warbler (uguisu) on Plum (Ume) Blossom
Chokin
15.00 $
Description
Such a sweet vase in the Chokin style, possibly featuring a Japanese Bush Warbler, or uguisu, on a plum blossom, or ume. But those are just my best guesses, the bird & the blossom could be something completely different. This is the larger size vase at 10 inches tall. There is a little visible wear at the bottom of the medallion area, as well as on the base, so please review all photos. Lovely, shiny piece! See my closet for other brand-new Chokin items in their original boxes. Photo 1, main image Photos 2-5, vase rotated Photos 6-8, opening/top, base & interior of vase, very clean Photos 9-10, close-ups of both stickers on vase, faded/worn Photos 11-12, close-ups of area of wear on medallion, at bottom (anything around rim is just reflections) Photos 13-16, approx. measurements, shown next to same size vase also in my closet so I didn't have to repeat
