Description
Van Briggle 1920s Art Pottery Brown Glaze Ceramic Miniature Cabinet Vase 3.5 This vase measures 3.5 in tall by 3 in diameter opening. The Van Briggle Pottery Company was a highly influential American art pottery firm founded in Colorado Springs in 1899 by artist Artus Van Briggle. Their green glazed ceramics from 1900-1920 are iconic American ceramics. Simple and modern for the time. This is from that next period of 1920-40's brown glaze. A good small piece with a rich history and this is that smaller vase scale that people call a miniature cabinet vase often. No condition issues.
