Antique Framed Love Poem

This beautiful love poem  is great for a dear friend or partner. It is colored in a similar way to old hand-colored photos. The frame is newer, and in excellent shape. Beautiful wood painted blue and gold, with nice carved detail.  Measures 5x7. Includes glass.  This is the poem: My Wish For You If my love could be all-powerful And its dearest wish could know It would flood your path with sunshine - There the softest winds should blow.  You should know no care nor sorrow And no times to sadness lent, For the days of each tomorrow Should hold naught but sweet content.  The flowers of peace and promise Should thickly strew your way, And buds of joy and hope fulfilled Should blossom every day.  Ah well, these wishes are but dreams! And well it is 'tis so, For life unlimited in bliss Would ne'er to beauty grow.  I know the rose without the thorn Is not the choicest flower, And so a life all free from care Would miss its fullest power.
