Description
A compilation of lectures by Grandmaster Pui Chan, this audiobook explores the history of Chinese Kung Fu, traditional weaponry, and Chinese medicine. A sixth-generation master of the Wah Lum Kung Fu system, Grandmaster Chan has more than 60 years of martial arts experience. He has trained thousands of students and established schools around the world. Featured on the Discovery Channel's Secret of the Warrior's Power and ESPN, Grandmaster Chan is also the subject of the award-winning documentary Pui Chan: Kung Fu Pioneer, chronicling his journey to achieve the American dream. More than a martial arts history, this audiobook shares Chan's philosophy that self-improvement is essential to becoming both a skilled martial artist and a better person. Narrated by his daughter, Mimi Chan, it preserves the wisdom and life lessons he has shared with generations of students. --- OBAYG
