X's
Melancholic to the point of making your chest tighten, and unbelievably simple for today's era.
Some call this quiet, beautiful, and cinematic soundscape ambient pop, while others describe it as an evolution of slowcore. Cigarettes After Sex is the solo project of singer-songwriter Greg Gonzalez, who was born and raised in Texas and is now based in New York.
Upon listening, everyone falls into a monochrome world shrouded in mist. You'll find yourself lost in thought in the darkness, shedding tears without realizing it. And you'll listen to it for the rest of your life. Such a work is rarely encountered.
