Vintage Art Nouveau Beveled Mirror

This frame has an Art Nouveau design, featuring fluid lines, intricate detailing, and a depiction of a woman in flowing attire.   Art Nouveau was popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, emphasizing organic forms, nature-inspired motifs, and often featuring female figures as part of the design.  The material is cast metal, possibly brass or a similar alloy, which was common in decorative items of this style. The marking, “7163,” likely refers to a model or production number for the piece. This type of numbering was common in cast metal items produced during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, often by manufacturers of decorative art pieces.  Based on the style and this number, the frame could be a vintage or antique Art Nouveau piece. However, without a manufacturer’s name or further identifying mark, it’s difficult to attribute it to a specific maker. Many companies during the Art Nouveau period created similar ornate metal frames, including companies in Europe like Austria or France, where this style was particularly popular.  The base had broken off the back, but could be hung or placed on a stand. The mirror is loose. The mirror is heavy and beveled with minor imperfections.   Sold as is
