An ornate American Legion 40 & 8 gold tone western style belt buckle. The left side features a circular emblem with the American Legion logo, displaying stars and the text AMERICAN LEGION (US) in blue and gold. The right side has a circular inlay with the iconic 40 & 8 numerals in a prominent gold font against a white background. The buckle is adorned with beaded borders and decorative leaf-shaped motifs around the edges, all set against a textured gold-tone metal finish.
