A compass from nearly half a century ago.

This is a vintage pocket compass made in Japan with a lid and a key ring.

Brand/Manufacturer: The dial shows an MS logo and the word JAPAN.

It has a metal case and lid.
There is a ring on the bottom that can be used as a keychain.
The analog dial is engraved with markings indicating directions.
Era: Compasses of this type are often classified as retro or antique items manufactured during the Showa era.

It has never been used and belonged to my grandmother.

You can lock the needle by pulling the knob.

Push the knob in to open the lid, pull the knob towards you to lock the needle, and leave the knob in the middle to show the direction.
