【New Unused】KATADYN BeFree Water Filter for 42mm Bottle Opening

KATADYN BeFree Replacement Filter

This water filter can be attached to a bottle for easy use.
It's useful for various situations such as mountain climbing, camping, and emergencies.
It comes with a cap, so you can leave it attached to the bottle, open it with one hand, and drink directly. It also prevents leaks.

Weight: 46g
Filter: EZ-Clean Membrane
Purification Capacity: Approx. 1,000 liters

With a micro-filter of just 0.1 microns, it can remove 99.99% of microorganisms and 99.9999% of bacteria.

While there are various portable water filters like Sawyer and Seychelle, the strength of this model is its stress-free and easy usability.

With a purification capacity of 2 liters per minute, it's overwhelmingly fast compared to other manufacturers and truly shines in situations where you drink directly from the bottle.
If you're looking for a water filter that can keep up with your normal drinking speed, the BeFree is practically your only choice.

Maintenance is also very simple; you can remove dirt by shaking it in water or rinsing it.

The cap opening is 42mm. While it's less versatile than filters like the SAWYER MICRO SQUEEZE with a 25mm opening that fits standard plastic bottles, its wider bottle opening makes it easier to clean and keep hygienic.

Compatible bottles are mainly various UL soft bottles, including:
- Mont-Bell Flex Water Pack
- Hydrapak SoftFlask, Flux Bottle
- Salomon Soft Flask (42mm model)
- Cnoc Vecto Water Container, Vesica Collapsible Bottle (42mm model)

Mont-Bell bottles, in particular, have become popular recently, and many people may have bought them only to find their Sawyer filters don't fit.
While genuine bottles are also sold, many users find the smell bothersome. This listing is for the cartridge only.

*Cannot be used with standard plastic bottles.
