AVOCA (Ireland)Soft Plaid Mohair/wool Throw Blanket in Teal & Lavender

Avoca Soft Goods throw blanket woven in Co. Wicklow, Ireland.The throw measures 142 cm x 100 cm (56 x 40). 70% Mohair / 30% wool Cozy plaid throw in teal and lavender hues.  heavily rooted in traditional craftsmanship.The raw yarn threads are aligned and tied together by hand. Avoca traditionally uses artisan handlooms. Setting up the complex patterns on those power looms is still a highly skilled process  Due to the handcrafted nature there are areas (as shown br photo) you can see some of the lamb wool more prominently.  Lightweight, fuzzy texture adds soft warmth and visual interest. Perfect for draping over a sofa or bed to brighten a room. Easy to layer with other decor.
