This is a lovely piece of mid century vintage bark cloth fabric that has been hand stretched and ready to hang in the home or office. The design is known as Desert Cactus. Barkcloth is a heavy, textured 100% cotton fabric with a distinct nubby, rippled surface that resembles tree bark, which was immensely popular for drapery and upholstery from the 1930s through the 1950s. This specific pattern features a large-scale tropical cactus flower in shades of dusty pink and mauve, framed by spiky green cactus needles and large green leaves There are two hanging wires on the back so that it can be hung in different directions depending on your preference.
