This is a 4K restored Blu-ray of the timeless masterpiece Four Nights of a Dreamer (Quatre Nuits d'un Rêveur) by Robert Bresson, the reclusive master of French cinema.

[About the Film]
Based on a short story by Dostoevsky, this film relocates the setting from 19th-century Petersburg to 1970s Paris. Against the backdrop of the Seine River and the Pont Neuf, the four-day encounter and dialogue between a lonely young man and a girl on the brink of despair are depicted in Bresson's characteristic ascetic and pure style.
It is a fresh yet poignant love story, symbolized by the now-famous line, Do you know why I like you so much? Because you're not in love with me.
