Vintage Pioneer Gold‑Tone Cufflinks with Ruby Thermoset Domes, 1960s–70s

Signed Pioneer cufflinks from the 1960s–1970s, featuring square gold‑tone bezels and deep ruby‑red domed centers in silky, translucent thermoset resin. The color has a soft inner glow typical of mid‑century molded resins and gives the pair a refined, jewel‑like presence.  The dome is set in a two‑piece die‑stamped metal cup, with the upper sheet folded over the lower to create a seamless edge — a construction detail used in higher‑quality commercial cufflinks of the era. The cast toggle arms are soldered to the base plate with the dark gray tin‑lead solder Pioneer used throughout mid‑century production. Plating is smooth with light vintage wear. Toggles operate cleanly.  A handsome, authentic mid‑century accessory for collectors, retro menswear styling, or wedding attire.
