Like New YANAGISAWA Alto Saxophone A-WO10

Please read my profile before commenting or purchasing. Thank you.

This is a YANAGISAWA alto saxophone. The previous owner quit after only three days, so it is in like-new condition. There is a single spot that looks like a stain at the joint, but otherwise it is like new. This alto saxophone originally cost over 560,000 yen and has the potential to compete with Yamaha's YAS-82Z. It is a high-end Yanagisawa model that can withstand professional use, so we highly recommend it.

It was inspected and adjusted at a shop in March of this year just to be safe, so I believe it will be comfortable to play.

The A-WO10 is a heavy type model with a yellow brass bell and is the successor to the high-end A-991 model. It is an alto saxophone that stands apart from the more common light type A-WO1. There are differences in the thickness of the tubing, the upper type neck, and the double arm on the low C key, among other features.

The set includes the saxophone body, a Yanagisawa mouthpiece, ligature, cap, original hard case, and hard case keys. Although not shown in the images, I will also include several Vandoren reeds and a neck strap so you can start playing immediately.

The following is based on excerpts from the manufacturer's description.
----------------
The A-WO10 is a heavy type, high-end model. The heavy type has a rich, full sound due to its resistance.

This model, made with yellow brass, combines a bright, brilliant sound with Yanagisawa's characteristic mellow tone. It has a good response, and the sensation of your breath instantly turning into sound is very satisfying.
Even when playing with power, the sound remains cohesive without scattering.

The characteristic upper style neck and the solid construction unique to high-end models provide a rich resonance and a comfortable playing feel.

The compact keywork is also a highlight, allowing for smooth operation regardless of hand size. The right pinky keys and the left hand table keys are particularly easy to operate compared to other manufacturers.
