【For Parts】Leica M9 Black Paint - Beautiful Exterior, Fully Functional Rangefinder, Sensor Addressed

Thank you for viewing.
I am selling my Leica M9 (Black Paint) as I am organizing my equipment.

This is a **junk item** with a malfunction in the shutter mechanism. Please consider purchasing only if you intend to repair it or use it for parts (donor).

■ Malfunction Details (Important)
- When the power is turned on, the shutter charge unit continuously operates with a kasha, kasha... sound and does not respond to any button operations.
- The shutter curtain itself does not open or close, but it vibrates slightly. The operation does not stop until the battery is removed.
- A preliminary diagnosis by a professional technician indicated a high probability of poor contact in the shutter charge unit's internal contacts.

■ Selling Points
Despite the aforementioned malfunction, the following parts are in excellent condition, making this a highly valuable unit.

- Rangefinder (Viewfinder): No clouding or fungus is visible, and the double image is clear and functions normally.
- Exterior: While there are minor scuffs from use, there are no noticeable dents or paint loss. It is in beautiful condition, with the protective seal still attached to the bottom. The rear LCD is also in clean condition.
- Sensor: The sensor delamination issue, common to the M9, has been repaired and addressed by AIBA Denshi Kobo, a specialist in Leica M9 repairs. Although actual shooting cannot be confirmed due to the current shutter malfunction, having the most expensive part, the sensor, addressed is the biggest advantage.
- Battery: One of the included genuine batteries was recently purchased new from a Leica directly managed store and has been charged and used only about 10 times, making it almost new. You can use it for a long time without worrying about degradation.

■ Accessories
Everything shown in the images is included.
- Leica M9 Body
- 1 Genuine Battery (*The almost new unit mentioned above)
- 1 Genuine Battery
- Genuine Battery Charger
- Genuine Strap (Unused)
- Original Box (Inner and Outer)

■ Notes
- This item is a junk item and its complete functionality is not guaranteed.
- There is a possibility of hidden defects other than those described.
- Due to the nature of the product, please understand that it is sold as-is, with no claims or returns accepted.

We await purchases from those with repair skills or those who can see the value in this as an excellent parts donor.
