1990s WETJET Personal Watercraft Original Photos 3-Piece Set

【Product Description】
This is a set of 3 original photographs of the WETJET, which was exhibited at the Harumi Exhibition Hall's Tokyo Boat Show in the 1990s.

The first photo is of the exhibit at the boat show in Harumi, while the second and third photos are from a test ride event.
This is a two-seater personal watercraft that you sit on to ride.

Unlike other personal watercraft, the hull has a shape similar to a catamaran, and the handlebars are not motorcycle-type but an 8-shaped type like a Cessna control stick, giving the feeling of riding in a full-cowl bike riding posture.
It is stable yet capable of sharp turns like a jackknife.
However, unlike jet skis, it was impossible to dive underwater and submerge no matter how many times it was tried.

At the time, used 440 jet skis were around 300,000 yen, new YAMAHA Marine Jet MJ-500T were around 700,000 yen, and Sea-Doo SEN400 were in the 900,000 yen range, while the WETJET was over 1,000,000 yen, making it expensive.

It is a very niche model, but I am listing it with the hope that it can be delivered to someone who loves personal watercraft.

●As these are photos from the negative film era of the time, the width of each photo varies due to the cutting process at the developing factory.
The width of these photos is approximately 11.5cm to 12.0cm horizontally and 8.2cm vertically (amateur measurements). These are borderless photos.

●The negative films have not been found, so it is not possible to reproduce the same photos.

★The color may appear different depending on your monitor. (The actual photos have a stronger yellow tint than blue or red.)

These are negative film photos from over 35 years ago.
As they have been stored by an amateur, there may be overlooked signs of age-related deterioration, such as scuffs, wrinkles, creases, scratches, or fading. Please judge from enlarged images, and refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to such details.

① Place the photos together in 3 bags, such as a Ziploc, for water protection.
② Reinforce with recycled cardboard for shipping. (See images 8-11 for packaging examples.)
