Description
This original vintage postcard features a stunning sepia-toned landscape view of Brunnhau Jettenberg with the Reitalm mountain backdrop in Germany. The image captures rustic alpine buildings perched on a hillside surrounded by dense forest and towering mountain cliffs under a cloudy sky. The postcard was produced by the well-known publisher Julia Maidseder, Fotogr., Bad Reichenhall, circa 1911, noted on the verso. It is a real photo postcard typical of early 20th century German alpine scenes, reflecting historic rural mountain life. The postcard's historical charm is enhanced by handwritten German script on the reverse, addressed to a recipient in München (Munich), and includes a dated postmark from Gmain, adding provenance and collectible value. Ideal for collectors of vintage European postcards, Alpine scenery, or early photographic postcards, this piece exemplifies early postcard production with fine detail and nostalgic appeal. A wonderful addition for enthusiasts of German heritage and mountain landscapes.
